Your Event:
We regularly host Car clubs, Garden clubs, Red Hat ladies, spinning clubs, or a group of friends.  Call Horton Iris Garden at (916) 652-4351 to reserve a date and fee quote for a group event.  Picnic facilities and gardens are scheduled on a first come, first serve, to private groups during the week and weekends (with appropriate time limit).

Loomis Basin Art Loop - Reception and preview show
              FREE     May 4, 2019   from 10 am to 4 pm
Preview show and reception of all the artists involved in Mother's Day weekend open studio art tour.  Maps available in the garden. For more information

Plein Air 3-day event:   April 26th, 27th, and 28th,  2019   FREE
Painting in the gardens, around the pond, by the packing shed, or one of the many tractors.
Please provide your chair, easel or table, etc.

14th Annual Mother's Day Weekend Open Studio Art Tour:   May 11th and 12th, 2019
          FREE                 Hours:   10am to 5pm   on Saturday  &  Sunday
The studio doors will be open Mother's Day weekend show casing the work of several artisits in the Loomis Basin Area.  Free maps and information are available at Horton Iris Garden.

  • Loomis Eggplant Festival:   October 5, 2019

            Look for the antique Model A and the tent with about 100 varities of iris rhizomes for sale.
            (ready to plant).  The Eggplant Festival is a street festival with vendors, entertainment,
